Back in August 11 , 2009 a worm was found that use vulnerabilities to access the log-in for self-hosted wordpress blogs. Meaning if you are just using the regular wordpress.com your site is safe unless your hosting your own blog on your server etc. The fix is simply to upgrade your blog to make sure that the hole is patched, though many users still have yet to update so make sure to spread the word...
