  The release of 3.2 firmware from apple for the iphone and ipod touch has been released for quite awhile and jailbreaking has been a big topic on what software is out there that allows you to hack the device to perform other features and gives you access to repository “Cydia”.

What exactly is Jailbreaking?

It hacks the firmware to give access to Cydia which has multiple add-on’s like 5-icon dock, Tricking applications that use Wi-fi only to think that the 3G connection is Wifi , etc.

Moving on the newest 3.2 firmware can be jailbroken with multiple software both on the windows and osx side.

Hope you have successfully jail broken your ipod/iphone be sure to follow my steps and look at the forums for common problem fixes and remember you can always restore to previous firmware ever in case.
