		<description>that isn&#039;t what a defrag does.  a defrag doesn&#039;t compress anything.  a defrag pulls all the pieces (or fragments) of files together so that it is read faster.  your drive gets fragmented because when you delete a file, it leaves a block of empty space...if the next file written is bigger than that block of space, the space is filled and then the remainder of the file is stuck in the next available space.</description>
