Been a couple, when I mean couple I mean lots, of months since I posted a blog post. That’s why I’m giving you almost 6 months of not posting by posting two topics in one blog post (Yay!). Let’s start with the first topic.
For about a month or so I lost my telephone and internet connection. You know why? Because we just moved to new house and we got the telephone, and the internet connection included (duh), disconnected so that it could be transfered to our new home. But before it got here, we needed to follow-up the telephone and internet transfer from a relative. And I needed to pay P20, the P is for Peso, for an hour of internet in the internet cafe so that I could keep at least my Twitter account alive. I worry alot when I forgot to log out of my accounts on Friendster, YouTube and other accounts since the next one who will use the PC may use the account for wreaking havoc on your friends and also on you. Gladly, no one used the accounts. A few more days passed and I was waiting for the telephone company to arrive and connect the telephone line, but no one came. I was going crazy! I calmed down a bit and decided to watch the TV. But since we also got our cable disconnected and not reconnected, because my dad wants a digital satellite instead of cable, I can’t watch anything because the antenna recption sucks, good thing that it was fine during the Pacquiao-Hatton fight. So the only way to calm me down is to watch a DVD movie on the DVD, we watched Mr. Bean the Movie. After 3 days the telephone company came and reconnected us, but the problem didn’t stop there. For a few days, the internet was slow, thus it makes YouTube video viewing virtually impossible. You can’t watch a 1 minute video without going through 5 minutes of pain. I called and it was fixed. May I note that the guy I was talking to seems to be cranky, lol. The telephone company’s service is great isn’t it? </sarcasm> And now, while I’m typing this blog post, the digital satellite is being installed! Yay me!
Moving on to the next topic…
I was recently alerted by @abgks via Twitter that there are new specs for the iPhone. These new iPhones will be available in 16 ($199) and 32 GB ($299) models. These will feature:
1. An OLED touchscreen display
2. 3.2 megapixel camera
3. A backlit Apple logo (oooh, shiny!)
4. MMS
5. Integrated compass
6. FM transmitter
7. Turn-by-turn GPS navigation, and finally
8. Video recording (WOOHOO!)
Note: There’s also a longer list of detailed specs, but for the most part they’re just a combination of that matte black casing leak from February and those Chinese specs from last week.
That’s all for now!
